What is Spectre?
Spectre is Skywind's sophisticated anti-cheat solution, designed to maintain fairness across the server. It actively scans for and removes players attempting to exploit the game with hacked or modified clients, promoting an equitable environment where skill and strategy prevail over cheats.
Employing any hacked client on Skywind will lead to an instant ban, enforced without leniency.
As for our anti-cheat, Spectre, you have 5 warning violations every 24 hours. If you get kicked more than 5 times within that 24-hour window, you'll receive the following violations listed below. These violations will permanently attach to your Minecraft account, as well as any other Minecraft accounts you've ever used to log into Skywind from the same internet connection, there's no way to reset or remove them.
First Excess Kick Violation: A temporary 1-hour suspension to allow reflection on gameplay practices.
Second Excess Kick Violation: Escalated to a 24-hour ban, with a warning message detailing the detected irregularities.
Third Excess Kick Violation: A 7-day ban, requiring a mandatory review of server rules upon return.
Fourth Excess Kick Violation: A 30-day ban, potentially including restrictions on certain in-game features.
Fifth and Subsequent Violations: Permanent ban from the server, with no appeal options for repeated offenders.
Kicked by Spectre?
This could arise from multiple triggers, such as:
Participating in cheating activities (By far the leading reason)
Spectre failing to recognize a valid gameplay element or mechanic (If this happens, kindly submit a detailed report here so our team can refine the system)
Other potential causes include network instability like elevated ping, incompatible mods that mimic cheats, or brief server-side errors, though these are uncommon and typically self-correcting.
Banned by Spectre?
Any form of cheating is unequivocally forbidden on Skywind. No defenses or explanations will be accepted for connecting with a hacked client under Spectre's vigilant monitoring. We urge all players to thoroughly familiarize themselves with the comprehensive server rules to prevent infractions.
Should you feel your ban was a mistake—possibly from a system oversight or an exceptional circumstance—feel free to lodge a thorough ban appeal here, where our moderators will investigate impartially.
